Hubbards Lane Project Status

by Andrew Carpenter on May 3, 2017

The Louisville Metro has recently restarted the design process through their Engineer. Their current plans are as follows:
1. Complete Right of Way Plans in the Fall of 2017
2. Complete the Final Design in the Fall of 2018
3. Project Letting in the Spring of 2019

Of course, all of these items are contingent upon funds availability, so they are subject to being pushed. The Louisville Metro – Streets and Roads Department has committed to keep the stakeholders on this project informed and we will diligently pass along any information that we learn to residents as the design process moves forward.

When will the minutes be updated?

Andrew Carpenter May 4, 2017 at 6:18 pm

The last few months’ of meeting minutes had to be edited before being approved. I hope to get February’s approved meeting minutes up in the next week once I get them from the Treasurer and the March/April minutes will be reviewed for approval at the May meeting. We are working to speed up the review process going forward and I also want to get them updated more frequently on the website, too.

Thank you for the comments!

Any update on the minutes?

Andrew Carpenter May 25, 2017 at 12:31 pm

I just uploaded the approved April minutes I received earlier this week. I am still waiting to get the finalized February and March minutes (which had to be edited, again). Just for your information, the slow process for meeting minutes drafting, editing, and approval is going to be an agenda item at next month’s commission meeting that will require some action. We are well aware that the current process isn’t a timely way to keep everyone informed, especially with some of the projects/activities in and around the city.

Thank you for the comments!
